Dothedew
Is 5,100 miles consider alot of miles for a 2007 ATV? Looking to purchase a use atv for ice fishing. Tired of pulling all the gears around.
Jack Peterson
Depends. 5100 well maintained miles or 5100 beat the pulp out of the machine miles? With proper maintenance, our 96 Polaris 6 x 6 has racked up about that many miles without any major problems. Outfitter17
Jack is right, it all depends on how the miles were put on. I have a 2002 6x6 with 1400 miles that we use around camp. It is in such rough shape I wouldn't sell it to anyone that I know, it's had a real hard life. If you could get some type of history on the machine, service records, etc. That would/should help in your decision.

gr8icefishinmind
Check the hours on the machine, that will give you a little better perspective on how it was rode!
knoppers
for a 2007 that seems high in miles for a wheeler, but if they rode a lot of railroad grades, not so bad. I ride my wheeler plenty, a 2002 has 3800 miles.
Macgyver55
5100 on a 2007, I'm jealous! That means he is riding more than me. I'm at just about 10,000 on my Foreman, and I wouldnt hesitate to take it anywhere and many of those miles were not easy ones. If it has an hour meter, divide the miles by the hours. Average speed can sometimes be an indicator as to how it was used. Often, (not always) a higher average speed can mean more cruising on easy trails or roads. CrappieKiller01
when i had my outlander 800 i traded it in with 42000 miles. lets just say only thing origianl on it was the transmission. gets 26 miles to the gallon. so it proved to be a work vehicle and also processed alot of wood with this outlander. if it was with in 10-20 miles i took the wheeler. I need to pick up the pace, only have about 2500 on my 2008.Like mentioned earlier, check the hours, may help decide on how it was rode.
