Lake Rebecca Park Hunt

Anyone ever hunted the Lake Rebecca Special Hunt? I was drawn this year, and have never hunted it before. Any insight would be great.

How did you do? I know there was a big 10 taken that they said should score close to 170

We got 2 young deer. I know that a lot of the deer were fawns and not not older deer taken. As far as I know I only saw that 1 nice buck was taken, I don't know if it was that big though.

Did you hunt both days? I shot a 130lb Doe on sat. they said was 2.5 years old. went back sunday only seen 1 deer. there wasnt many people hunting on sunday. When i left sunday they had pics of 2 nice bucks there but the one was way bigger. i"m just going by what the park guy said that it had a 21 3/8 inside spread and would go close to 170. Which zone did u hunt?

I only hunted on saturday. I hunted zone A or 1. U

Me too. Did you park at off of roy road? I may have talk to you on saturday night when you and your buddy were pulling out your deer.

ya thats where i parked but i was by myself. i had the blue chevy stepside

how many people were in the hunt?

80 permits were given out and i think 74 people hunted saturday and only 42 showed up sunday.

It depends on the deer numbers. They had the hunt last year but not the few years before that.
