triggertrav
My son (who is 11) wants to get out with me and try hunting with the muzzleloader. I am currently running about 120 gr of powder and a 250 gr bullet. I would like to decrease the powder, but not sure how low i should go? or is there legal minimal amounts that must be used? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Trigger
Archerysniper
Out of my older inline I would load it with 50 grains of triple 7 for my nephews to shoot and still got accuracy out of it.

lcornice
I only use 75g of fffg under a 275g maxi-hunter in my flintlock. You'll have to re-sight the gun in but you'll be fine with the lower powder load.
