magnum mike
I've never used or heard of using a jerkstring for divers. That has always been a puddle duck thing in my world.
HugoBox
I've used them for about the past 5 years on windless days and I think it makes a difference - even on big water. I'm lazy and don't want to string in the way when I have to go out and pick up downed birds so I normally run it along the inside edge. I also think that keeping it in close proximity to the rest of the blocks helps the ripples get to the rest of the easier than if its on its own. Notcho
With diver's they don't care unless it's glass. Just put it in front with 4 deke's and tug on the cord!I have the same Rig-em jerk cord works great!Motion (wings) is the best for divers. Flagging, robo's whatever as long as it's moving. top dog
couple things. About placement, i put the line, currently 4 decoys in the middle, then it moves a greater number of decoys when I pull. On mine, I attached the end to a marking buoy. Then when I have to quickly go out and retrieve ducks, I just toss it overboard, still there when I get back Also, I just rigged mine up with a weight, bungee cord, and then cord and use a quick release on each decoy as I struggled with tangles when I first constructed it. Hope this helps.
