Handgun Question

Recommended Posts

Put a used glock 20 down on layaway til I get my purchase permit in the mail. I know 10 mm rounds a somewhat hard to find but can still get them. My question is the 40 S&W the exactly same as the 10 just different case length and powder charge. So if a buddy was reloading 40cal. I would just have to buy brass and adjust the bullet seat then split powder and lead with him. Havent talked to him just yet. Just curious. I hope I like it. Its coming with after market barrel and different sights. Cant wait, have a few pumkins left over from Halloween.

Your buddy will also need a set of 10mm dies, but basically everything else is pretty much good to go. You could check online at gun broker for some once shot brass and get a couple hundred that way....It will be cheaper than new brass, not that new brass is out of the question

Thought it was good deal 3-15shot mags, night sights, lone wolf barrel and some other stuff for 450. Not a steal but couldn't spend the money for new one. Just wish it came with a few boxes of shell. It seems expensive when you have 15 to 20 dollars in you clip that can be gone in seconds. Still beats the casino! If I like it alot I'll just get my own reloader or a 40 cal barrel for it.

does it have the adjustable rear sights? IF so, that is a screaming deal, cheapest I have ever seen a used glock 20 with adj. sights was 525 at gander in lakeville. I had a hard time walking away from that one....If your buddy will reload for you, let him do it. Just stay in his good graces

It has trijion night sights on it. The rear sight seemsto slide side to side but looks like a peep sight. Really don't know how old it is but it looks like a gen 2. Might ask for a single stage for christmas or waiting for the gun show this spring. My buddy said he'd rather not reload for someone else due to liabilty which is totally cool. Don't want to put someone to work just want to learn. Need to get rid of a shotshell reloader first, then I'll make some rounds for the 10/40
