SkunkedAgain
I was thinking about it this morning. What preceded Favre's departure from Green Bay was his insistence that Ted Thompson trade for Randy Moss in 2007. Thompson wouldn't do it. Favre felt the cold shoulder and retired. Then all of the drama from the messy Packer/Favre divorce.Fast forward to 2010 and Favre pulled his drama-queen routine to get out of training camp again. The players then flew down and whisked him back to Minnesota. He wasn't sure if he wanted to play, but they wanted him, so he decided to give it a shot. When things weren't going well, don't you think that it was Favre saying "Get Randy Moss in here." Now that things are really going bad and the Favre/Childress schism was heating up, Childress cut Favre's pet project (Moss). It's a little far-fetched but you couldn't put it past Childress. This could be his way of asserting his control over Favre. No matter what, it's the only reality tv that I'm willing to sit through and watch. FISHINGURU
The Vikings are the laughing stock of the NFL. I wouldn't put anything past Child. Child has no control over this team, thats what burns him the most is he wants to be in control so bad no one likes him. From Superbowl hopes to a top 10 draft pick!! Hopefully the Vikings get smashed on this year and get a top 5 pick and Child gets fired.
thatoneguy
A little far-fetched? It's insane. Moss was putting forth zero effort in his routes, and was - by multiple accounts - being a negative influence in practice. This has zero to do with Favre. If you want to blame anyone other than Moss, you can maybe blame Childress for failing to connect with Moss and involve him in the game plan more in an effort to keep him happy. But this is 99.9% on Moss. It's definitely 0% about Favre.
harvey lee
Maybe the blame should go to Zigy for even having Chilly run the team or for even resigning him.No stadium for the Vikes and they will be gone.

Yeah right, just like the Twins were going to be contracted.A stadium will get built...why do people think it has anything to do with the W-L record, it doesn't, it's politics. FISHINGURU
Moss only spoke about what most players think about Child and his preparation and game planning. They are now saying Percy was speaking out about how we don't ever adjust at halftime also after Sundays game. We already know Favre can't stand it, Moss had to come from the Pats to this disgruntled team with a Moron for a head coach. You can guarantee the offensive guys talk smack about Child and his play calling. Only difference is Moss don't give a hoot and will say whatever he wants, he basically said Child is a moron and it sucks to play for a team that isn't prepared. It would suck to be a player and know more about preparation and film study then your coach. Moss gave them advice about how the Pats scheme and they blew him off, then after the game tell him he was right.Plain and simple the Vikings play lackluster because of their coach, we been flatlined all season, out of rhythm, penalties galore, as soon as we finally get something going all the drives die because of penalties. Funny how two of the teams with the most talent in football suck so bad, the biggest thing they have in common is terrible coaches that can't prepare a team to win football games.Good coaches win you games by being prepared and having you prepared, calling the right plays, studying and going over film so you know how to game plan for your next opponent.I get tired of being out coached week in and week out.
