I have the clam pro and I just "hate" having to extend the poles---------having the "pole clips" really can be a pain as they have a tendancy to slide. Especially when your trying to take everything down in the DARK. I would suggest you check around frown Just my 2 cents!!!!!!!

I use elect. tape around the clips and they stay perfect. Never move and make taking down a snap.

I have two 2 year old FT pros and to me they are a perfect one man. Maybe I was lucky but we have had no issues with the poles. Definatly need to slide each side at the same time the same amount.

Some of the other one mans are too narrow to me. The pro has ample room to run two holes, a heater, and a flasher/camera without being to big to be portable if pulling by hand...

It's tight but two people can fish out of one. When I dont feel like bringing both units or the 2-man my girlfriend and I can fit in one with the seat slid to one side and a cooler or bucker added for another seat...

Couldn't agree more. I have two Pro's in the back of my truck at all times. When I have people with, I load up the sled and trailer and the Otter comes with made for two! I do also have an old Otter Den, which is a x-large Otter, but for runnin and gunnin and finding fish alone, the Pro is top notch!
