fishroger
Was out in yellow medicine county rooster hunting private land. landowner told us if we see a albino pheasant not to shoot it. Didnt think much of it until about a 1/2 mile down the shelterbelt it got up right in front of me. Seen a few partial albinos but this one was completely white. It was an interesting sight. There is some birbs out there but locals say its down some.
Jack Peterson
Had an albino pheasant in my CRP field a few years back. Pretty sure the fox or hawks took care of her first, because she was the easiest to see! Kind of cool to have around.

rwwong
I've seen pen raised pheasants that were white. I don't know if they were considered Albino, which makes me wonder if the farmer who asked you to protect the bird is pen raised, or Wild, Albino or Not...... harvey lee
There was a location where I would see an albino every time I went there. Never shot the bird as it was so cool to see.It was an all white bird.In the town I live in, it is very common to see numerous white squirrels also. They look kind of unique. NWBuck
Here's a piebald (technical name for partial) I shot a few years back. He has flecks of white throughout his body, and a neat combination of colors and white in the tail feathers. It doesn't show up real well in this picture, but one of the longest tail feathers is half white and half normal. He fits in nicely in the man cave

I live there and I actually shot an albino today, but ended up not finding it, I think due to the snow, Even though When I shot it it just folded.
