my camera has flash would it be bad to put it on a scrape

put it behind it(so you take the pic from butt end of deer) and put it up higher than norm and point down.

I have had several cameras (with flash) over the past 3-4 years take hundreds of pictures of bucks and does over scraps......I guess I have never thought of putting the camera behind the scrap, but then again I have never had a problem with the camera facing straight on...Last year I had a 150+" buck on the camera over a scrap every day (sometimes twice a day)for 2 weeks...By the way, one of the cameras is over a mock scrap seems to get the most activity.

who knows.......I have taken a ton of pictures of bucks over 140" with my camera (with flash), and it never seems to bother them......With that said I have also only taken one "nice" buck in the past 4 years....Taking pictures and harvesting them are two different things.
