Marcum underwater camera! need info.

Want to show my grandpas what the bottom of a local lake looks like, and where the fish are. I need to figure out how to record off of my Marcum camera. I just bought it last year, and would love to learn how to do this! Any info is appreciated.

The easisest way to do this is to run a line from the Marcum Output to a Video Camera input.

Another rinkydink way is to just point a video camera at the screen and record that, but you will end up with lines on the video from the screen refreshing.

Not sure if there is a DVR option for the Marcum cameras, I know there was an Aqua-View DVR you could buy at one time.

I'm pretty sure a guy could find a portable DVR on the market somewhere that would work.

For long sessions of recording, use the Video Out Port on the UM Camera, than plug into a video recorder or even a laptop. There are a couple methods to go into a laptop, depending on the laptop.

Basically with modern UW Camera Systems, you just need the RCA Video Out Cable appropriate for your chosen recording device.

NOTE: Older cameras were analog, so they would need a analog to digital converter to pull it off.

There's a number of videos on the Marcum HSOforum and also on UTube that make it pretty easy to see. There was also a link to some on FM last year in the winter. Do some searching and you may be able to do it quickly and easily.
