MN Trax and Lowrance H20

My beautiful wife was going to surpise me with a MN TRAX chip for my Lowrance H20.

She went all over the place and everyone wanted to sell her a Lakemaster (I already have one of them.)

I just want to make sure that it is compatible and see what people think of it.

She wants to order one, so I have it before deer hunting.

Any advice would be great!!!

Thanks,

DL

The MNTRAX chip will work in a Lowrance H20. Stores will try to sell you what they have. Do a search on the word TRAX or MNTRAX right here on this HSOforum and you will see other threads where they have talked about the TRAX product and/or others can comment on this thread as well. If all you ever do is fish, then LakeMaster makes a great product. However, if you hunt, fish, hike, bike, etc, the extra features in MNTRAX is what seperates it from any other map out there.

Go for it, with the MNTRAX and your existing LakeMaster card, your all good...your covered bud. TRAX does what it does extremely well out in the field, in fact, it excels.

I have yet to talk to a hunter whom picked up a TRAX product, and did not find it highly useful.

I do not run the Lowrance line, I run Garmin, and in all my Garmin products I have the TRAX loaded and ready to go. I love it, it covers what others miss and omit completely, and very often the others miss a lot.

I say..."Get TRAX, and then...Go Get-Sum!" cool

Yep, you'll be very happy with it, I'm sure. That set up should work fine. For private/public info, the Trax products beat the heck out of Lakemaster. I have Lakemaster products and I'm very happy with them, but for 99% of hunting and quite a bit of fishing, the Trax products are the cat's meow!
