Moose hunting

Any luck or has anybody hear how there doing. Very interested do know the results while knowing being up in that area I see less moose every year. Hope some had good luck? Boy with the warm weather it would spoil fast.

ya bumer on the hot weather. My dad and his buddy got drawn a few years ago and they had 75 to 80 one day and 2 days later 25 degrees and then rain. so i hope it cools off for all of ya out there. Good Luck

My partner had a medical problem and had to be air lifted to Duluth from Grand Maris hospital last Wed.

Hes good to go now and we'll be headed back out on Tue.

Didn't see any fresh sigh were we were. Hope they're on the move or we will be.

We'll have our moose de-boned, cooled down, and in coolers on site if we get one.

A buddy of mine from college is doing some of the sampleing for the DNR up there and I believe he said he either registered a 53 and 59 inch spread or a 43 and 49 inich spread were the biggest as of last week.

We took a 40-incher on Sunday morning Oct 10. Now I am looking into a taxidermist to mount just the antlers. I am thinking about a european mount but my wife thinks they look a little creepy with the skull. Can anybody recommend a taxidermist? I am in the south metro. [email protected]

i live in the north metro. so let me know...if you can't find anyone. i have done europeans and plaque mounts before!
