Turkey Wall Mount Ideas...

Can a guy do a wall mount of a turky in flight??

I guess I know it could be done. My questions are can it be done in a standard 8' wall and still look normal??

How far does it stand off the wall??

Anyone have any pics they could post of such mount??

Yes it can be done. Loook good on a normal 8' wall...??? I guess that's up to you. It's a large mount with wings out and bottom wing out quite a bit in order to make it look decent.

Wall mounts are nice, if you have a good wall for it. They are impressive if done right. Personally that is my next mount, as I have one in a full strut which is very awesome too.

This my strut mount, pic doesn't do it justice because it's in a cut out of the wall 10ft high, so it's hard for me to get a good pic of it. But you'll get the idea.

Not that I have shot my Fall Turkey yet but I have another question.

What do I do once the turkey is regerstard if I want a "In-Flight Wall Mount"?

Do I freez the whole thing in a garbage bag or what??

If you know where you're taking it, you can put it into that plastic garbage bag and give it to the taxidermist and let him put it into his freezer. If it's got a lot of blood coming out of the head, just wrap the head in a paper towel or two.

I took mine in the following day, so I froze it in a large garbage bag--carefully. It looks great sitting on the floor right next to me!
