College Hockey This weekend

How about Denver. The last team I thought that Michigan Tech would beat to end there winless streak. They didn't show the Gopher game up here in GF. I was hoping to watch that game but watching the wild was fun too.

Gopher game was another laughable performance by the refs.

The Gophs are dangerous. Maybe peaking at the right time, or maybe just getting lucky. We know they are good against good teams. I am interested to see what they do the next 5 games.

UND must be very happy with the upsets last night. even UNO is right on the edge.

UND is just happy to get a tie from the sounds of it. Frattin scored a nice goal at the end of the game to send it to overtime. I guess the refs screwed up on a goal disallowed but I haven't seen it myself yet.

the refs have been the worse that I can remember. i've seen it go both ways. Hakstal was interveiwed after the game and he couldn't believe the call that disallowed the goal in third. It sounded like it should have been a penalty on them instead. Goalie interference was th reason. Who knows. I'll take a tie I guess.

The gophs are playing great hockey right now, even when they lose they are at least putting up a fight. Too bad they coasted through the first half of the season. Pretty much every game is a must win for them and I would love nother more then to sweep WI right now.

Well you have to be happy with 3 points on the road at WI but wow what a boring OT, they should have just called the game at the end of regulation, both teams playing for the tie.

I remember lots of soft goals in college hockey, but this one has to take the cake. Replay shows he ALMOST made that save.

I'm kind of doubting the Sioux will wrap up the season when they have to play Tech.

Minnesota and Wisconsin might have to win the F5 to make the tourney. SCSU is starting to look like the team the coaches pick to finish second in the WCHA in the beginning of the year. Minnesota might have them in a couple weeks.
