Just wondering when you guys think you'll be able to go out on the hard water for the first time this year, the way I'm seeing the weather I'm saying November 23rd- hit 35 degrees here yesterday water temps at 59 down here already.

Thanksgiving weekend for me!!!

I may only be in 4 ft of water 40 ft from the shore with a rope tied around a tree on shore but I plan to be out there.

I am sure Elwood will beat me out on the new ice though.

Don't know if ill have time- got 2 shows during duck season maybe ill sneak up there for a weekend, my buddy down here is trying to get me to go too... You get any new shacks made this year?

No new shacks but I built a new duck blind for the boat and got a mud motor for it thou the spearing shacks will start soon enough wait a min I did get a new protablr thou but it needs some work

Duck season is gonna be fried down here high water pushed the flocks out, always wanted a mud motor, just always had to buy the other toys first, what kinda portable did ya get?

I gotta a fold up style from merk come to think of it I owe him for it yet told him I wanted it and the next thing I know its in my garage HMMM wonder if I say I want a wheeler... if that would work

I need to cut it down from a 4x8 to a 4x6 then redo the hinges on it and reattach the canvas. Going to make a one man style

Well the past 3 years there's been over 100 schooling together in my spot, many times limited out on one pass. Late season is the best for them. Just checked it out today and there was over 40 geese in one of my spots. You going tomorrow?
