spearchucker
Did anyone listen to the game last night. Started out great, but then the wheels fell off big time. Hope they get things straightened out.
Bear55
I didn't listen but it sure doesn't look good, lucky for us it was only preseason and hopefully we are shaking off the rust or it could be a long season.
spearchucker
Sounded like Burns, Stoner, and Backstrom had pretty bad games.
Bear55
That is probably a good thing because I think Burns and Backstrom shouldn't have too much trouble turning things around.
OnAFly
Too bad they don't televise the preseason games. I know Detroit does for some. I heard the sell out streak ended. Anyone else thinks it doesn't make sense that they count preseason games in that streak? I suppose it doesn't matter anyway. I would rather have a cup than a sellout streak... scsavre
I was there, it was pretty bad. I didnt think the pre-season games mattered toward a sell out streak. ah well. the rink wont be filled this year anyway. Tons of people opted out of their tickets this year. You they are desperate with all these small games packages.
Bear55
I thought that was a little odd too. like you said not the biggest deal in the world but we were pretty close to the all time sellout streak. What I do find amazing is the Wild are up there with Detroit who has been winning forever and Colorado who probably had their streak when they were good and winning cups. spearchucker
The NHL doesn't count pre-season games, but the Wild said that they are going to count it. They said they want their streak to be earned from good play. I agree with that.I think tomorrow nights game is on 45 though when I looked on the Wild HSOforum.
