Black River - Ironwood report?

Any fish in the river of note? Spending a day in the area - would like to check it out Thursday this week - chinook, pinks, lakers?

I know they are doing good trolling in front of the mouths of the rivers right now, for Kings, and are picking up some smaller lakers also. I would say there are some fish up by Rainbow, but not sure on quantities. Within the next 2 weeks I am assuming the run will be on so report back on how you do.

Fished Rainbow yesterday - pinks in pretty strong right now, but not many kings. Did bump a big one in the fast water down below - must've been a good one as it kicked up water pretty high a couple times as it flew downstream - I believe another couple weeks will make a difference.

Water level good - almost on the high side.

We have had a ton of rain and with all the clay very little gets absorbed within the soil. I was at rainbow this weekend didn't wet a line but watched 1 guy land a decent king 15 pounder, it was nice and silver to boot...

the kings are in, went down this weekend hooked 2 but didn't land any. Pretty tough right now with the water being so high, but they are jumping all over...

Hey Hartman,

Havent been up in a few weeks but it is getting to be that time of year. I am assuming they are starting to come up the river. I will check with a few buddies and will report back once i hear.
