HNTNBUX
Elwood when you did the paint did you start with olive drab and add black patches to some areas randomly and then do the tan in stencils? I also like the gun box idea and overhead cover.
leech~~
fwiw I hunted out of a recreational kayak for early goose, in moving water, and didn't have a problem. even under power, crossing current, shooting upriver. then again, i've spent an awful lot of time in a yak or canoe. i would think out of one designed for hunting you would have no problem at all if we did ok in these! What the %$#@, after I spent all that time painting my boat camo. I find out that YELLOW works better! Looks like you had a good day! mudslinger
Elwood, congrats on the beavertail motor. The rig looks pretty sweet. The longtail may not be the fastest beast but its mean when it comes to mud and weeds. You'll love it.
Gordie
Elwood when you did the paint did you start with olive drab and add black patches to some areas randomly and then do the tan in stencils? I also like the gun box idea and overhead cover. The boat was olive from the factory then I added the two or three other colors then I drew and cut my own stencils out. I painted the boat about 5 or 6 years ago so its held up rather nicely and I beat the cr-p out of itThe gun box is a aluminum truck tool box that replaced a wood one that my neighbor had made for me and it wieghed about 150 lbs this one is about 40 lbsMudslinger what kind of speed do you get out of your LT just to see how close I should be and what size prop do you run. Thanks
