clear coat?

Has anyone ever tried spraying their decoys with a clear coat or something that will preserve the paint for longer? What product did you use and obviously need a sprayer that will not shine.

im sure people have but the bad thing is that there will be quite a bit of shine from the sun that might make the geese flair
