Tom7227
I've seen a bit about this place and it seems like it may be something to try. I don't know about the availability of places to hunt and I don't have the weight to be paying big bucks for access. Anyone have experience in the Mott area? How about anyone with experience at the Tailfeather. It's supposedly an old convent so I don't know if you have to run the beads every evening before you go to bed or not. UMC
I've never hunted the Mott area but everything you hear about it is that most of the private land is very tough to get on, with some of it being pay to play. You could look at public land maps to see if those would make it worth your while.
Redranger
If you are headed out a week after opener the PLOTS program will allow plenty of places to hunt. I own propetry north of Mott and am also a non-resident. Mott area is posted up, look at the ND fish and game web site under plots there is more ground than a person could cover in a lifetime in ND. The Tailfeather inn looks like a nice place to stay and if I understand correctly they can provide places to hunt. Good Luck!
