Wish-I-Were-Fishn
I happened upon a state forest campground yesterday while up north & thought we would drive through and check it out.It was a couple miles down a dirt road and I didn't think anybody would be there. I was surprised that it was a pretty decent looking place. Even had a site right on the water where you could leave a boat. Couple sites were taken, but other than that it was empty.Guess it is close to the end of summer and folks are prepping for school. It would be fun to have a goal of checking out every state forest campground in the state. They are often nice places.
leech~~
There are a lot of very nice out of the way SF campgrounds that are not always used that much. But, just driving through to check them out doesn't keep them open. Stay for a night and pay the fee at a few of them.
