14 foot lund with a 9.9 yamaha we could not get better than 12mph...the outfitter had put on a special "prop guard" that slowed us a little but I don't think we were going to gain more than 1 or 2 mph with it off.

depends on how heavy your boat is....I have a 14 foot V with a 15 hp and by myself I get 18-19mph tops with 2 people I go to around 12mph and 3 people I am down to 8 mph....but I have wood floor, casting deck in front and casting area in the back
