replacing Moultrie display?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys just got my replacement I-40 Moultrie digital display in the mail with instructions...holy cow it sure reads confusing. Anybody replaced theres and how hard was it, did you loose any screws?

mr

Ha, I got mine last week and was trying to picture who could have written them. Are they typos or just poor English -- I'm not really sure. I was trying to figure out if they actually had someone in China write them.

Anyhow, replacing mine in the field this weekend. Hoping for the best. Can't be too bad.

I can't complain about the grammer/spelling because mine isn't great either but after reading the instructions I was concerned on how many screws a person will loose with the install. You stated you did it in the field and it was all good, great to hear.

I replaced the display yesterday and IF you have no kids or distracts you can get the job done in about 25 minutes. The key is to have the smallest of the two phillips screw drivers that are magnetic. It wasn't real hard to do but you have to be very careful on the electrical boards and stuff not to bend anything out of normal position.

The display works and looks great thanks for all the help and tips.
