Gordie
Last summer a friend of mine came to me with a problem and it was an easy fix. The problem was his uncle needed someone to take care of a 116 acres up in the Nashwauk area for the next five to ten years while he worked in West Virginia. He works for the government and he grew up in Elk River he owns a bunch of property in Kentucky and Ohio as well but this land in Mn was his retirement home or was going to be. I had full rights to the land and could post it no hunting and could also hunt it basically do as I please for a lease agreemnt of caretaker of the property.SWEET right well it was. He was going thur a divorce and it got nasty like I said he works for the government and is Ex-milatary and She never worked a day in her life and most of the stuff he HAD was acquired before the marriage but the judge sided with her and she got the farm in Kentucky and the home in West Virginia along with spousel support and to top it off half of the property in MN but the judge said you either half to buty it from her or sell it and split the money with her. I dont know all the details of what happened in the marriage but sure sounds like the song "She got the Gold mine I got the shaft". I may have this season left to hunt it but I doubt it. and this is prime hunting ground with lake shore. Like I said Easy Come Easy Gooooooo now to find a new place hunt
