Fishing this weekend

I want to go out catfishing Sun-Tues but seems like there is nothing going on nothing is biting, I fish the upper St.Croix and its a 1 1/2hr drive for me. I just dont want to waste the time off. We went last weekend and got skunked. Any suggestions out there???

You certainly shouldn't be getting skunked there this time of year. This is usually one of the most productive months on the upper Croix. I'd scratch that off as some bad luck, bad bait, timing, whatever and go out and redeem yourself. They're biting, just not off the couch. ;-)

Lets see, this weekend...My parents 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, my 30 year class reunion Saturday night, and Our family reunion on Sunday...I'm Out.
