Say I got a question for ya all...

I saw somone throwing a topwater bait I've never seen before, and I can't find it anywhere. I'm curious if anyone here can figure this one out.

Its a cylintrical tube, but instead of tenticals it had 2 ultravibe style claws, and its fished topwater like the zoom hornytoad or buzzfrog. The total presentation is 5-6" long, with the vibe claws about 1.5" long and the tube about 3.5". Its all one peice and there are no other appendages, skirts, arms, etc.

Has anyone seen something like this or know who makes it? I almost wonder if the guy didn't clip the tenticals off a tube and stuff a zoom ultra vibe speed craw inside, cuz thats what it looked like.

Nope... imagine a flippin tube, then imagine the legs on a Zoom Horny Toad... combine (minus the tube's tenticles).

Simular style legs/claws are also on the zoom ultravibe speed craw.

I'm quite familiar with most plastics out there and this one has me puzzled.

I honestly think at this point its a tube with a stripped ultravibe speed craw stuff up its rear. It was rigged with a 6/0 unweighted Owner Beast hook. It could just be a custom bait that one sells. I've looked at every online retailer out there and there's nothing even close.

Owell time to experiment.
