cherokee
My brother-in-law cut me a nice 3 hole bucket hauler for the 4 wheeler. I installed it tonight and like it. Should work out great as the buckets slip down into a hole and just the top is sticking out. A bungie from side to side over the three buckets will hold in place. I can strap a 50 pound bag of sunflower seed/corn in front of it. I suppose I could have bought a bucket rack for it but this cost me about $4.No photos at this time. jay83196
I just got a new hitch carrier that fits into my wheeler receiver that will hold 3-4 buckets or bags etc a lot nicer than a trailer bouncing around. Got in on sale less than 50$.
cherokee
Sounds like a good buy. Is it steel or aluminum? Don't want to be pulling a trailer through some of that nasty stuff. Plus the noise.
bogwalker
cherokee, Do the buckets hang down very low behind your wheeler? My problem with the stuff I drive through is anything too low always bottoms out.
jay83196
Steel maybe 30 lbs
cherokee
The buckets don't hang too low. There seems to be plenty of clearance but I know what you mean about going through some nasty stuff. It worked well for another guy in our party last year. Good thing is I don't have a whole lot of money stuck into it.I'll try and take a picture and post it. bogwalker
I build wooden boxes on the front and rear racks to hold my buckets. If I get too much weight extended behind the wheeler it gets tough to steer. My buckets weigh from 20 to 30 pounds each depending on what mix I am using, and I carry up to 7 buckets at a time. HooknHorns
I made one out of wood last year that worked awesome until I used it as a ladder. If you guys have pics of your wheelers rigged up for baiting lets see some or even pics of your bear camp.
cherokee
I'll see if I can post some video. Went through some awesome mud trails this weekend and had the brother-in-law tape me.
