Braid Line

Started using Power Pro Braid. I understand you should use a different kind of knot then you use for mono. Have you heard the same? Barry

I use the polymar knot, so far so good.

The palomar knot is the way to go. Fold the line to make a double strand, slip through the eye of the hook, tie an overhand knot, then slip the hook through the loop and pull holding the hook and the double strand. You are now in buisness with one of the strongest knots you can use.

as if one more opinion matters, polymar is the knot. power pro is the braid. Using it for 2 years and love it.

Hey are you guys using these lines on Spinning tackle or Baitcasting Gear? Just curious how it would perform on spinning gear? Things like line twist?

I use P.P. and Fireline a lot. Started jigging with it years ago on spinning tackle and love them both. Recently started trolling with them and found they are good in darker waters or when trolling deep or fast. Just set your drags to slip so you dont pull out hooks or worse yet break a rod!
