cherokee
I thought about it but people convinced me to sleep in and wait for the evening.
x1957x
I have tried it with some success, but bears like to move at night and i have always wondered what you are scaring off when you go in before sunrise. Maybe if you did they would come back. Just cant see any theory on it as hard as I look. ----jeff---
Boar
Last year I had a night feeder anywhere from 10 to 3 AM, nothing consistance, I tried baiting before work an went in at 6 AM an baited I reviewd the pics an I bumped the bear off the pile, one pic of the bear an two minuets later was a picture me. Then the site whent dry. If I had started baiting AM It might been different. Boar
HooknHorns
My buddy that showed me the ropes tried that once on a tough bear. Him and his brother unknowingly walked in on a big bear sleeping next to the bait. The problem was they had to walk by the bait to get to the stand. The bear woke up and took off like a bulldozer though the woods with them being five feet away. John tried backing up as fast as he could but tripped over his brothers feet. Could have been a bad scenario. They both said never again about hunting the mornings.
