jay83196
Well I have yet another question for you savvy veterans out there... what time a day do you try to bait and when do you typically go hunting, am/pm both? Thanks
Boar
I bait according to my work shcedual which allows me to be at my site at about 4:30 an I keep that schedual if I could bait at 2 pm i would. I'll hunt according to the trail cam pics, if a good bear is hitting at 10:00 am I'm not gonna be hunting the pm. odds are you'll be getting evening time hits but ya never no, thats why it important to have a trail cam at all site, to pattern the bear an hunt accordingly. but you'll also get a bear that chooses to come in when ever he wants an good luck with that. boar
bogwalker
Generally I bait by 2:00. Now that I hunt from the ground I try to be there to hunt by 3:00. It depends on the bear I am after and particulars of where the bait site is located.
Random guy
I start out with a long route so I do them when I can but I slowly work the active boar baits later and later until I can bait when the hunters are going in and be right on schedule.
