Mississippi river Musky above brainerd Dam ?

Anybody been fishing this area. I know they caught a few small musky in Rice lake and above in 2009

there has always bin a few muskies above the dam but very few. but in the past 5 years the dnr has put 3000 fish between 10"and 12"each year between aitkin and brainerd. The last net survey showed the largest of those fish at about 36"

Correction That was not net surveys but it was catch reports that showed the fish at about 36"

from what i've seen and heard I think Meat-Run is right.

Just a bunch of rumors from back in the olden days...

All the water below the dam is overrun with cat fisherman from the looks of it. haha.
