table AC???

Ad in today's paper has 'portable AC' units. They look like dehumidifiers. Little suckers on wheels. Now how could that work - where does the hot air and water go?

i think they have tubes that vent to a window, as for the condensation it probally drips into a pan

yes they vent outside and believe they have a heated coil drip pan that evaporates the moisture..i believe they only work with up and down windows or sliders not crank outs

We've been selling them where I work for the last 9-10 years. The early units had drip pans that had to be emptied. Now they have evaporators that vent out the window. Very popular item.

My Dad used one in his old office building years back. It definitely helped.
