Beacon in the Fog - Split Rock Lighthouse 100th Anniversary

Been a while since Ive posted, havent been online as much lately - some nice work displayed by the photographers here, as always.

Split Rock lighthouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior is celebrating its 100th anniversary by lighting it up on the evening of the first friday each month this summer.

Last friday was a foggy night and although there wasnt as large of a turnout as there was last month, I thought the fog created a nice mood and those who werent put off by the foul weather got a special treat.

Here are a few of the images I got in between rain showers. Comments/criticism are welcome.

First one is my favorite, I like the inclusion of the lake and the fog around the lighthouse.
