Guest
What is the best way to clean the cork on my rods or is there a special cleaner avalible at the store?
IceHawk
A trick I learned that worked was tooth- paste. Rub tooth-paste on the handles scrub them and rinse them with warm water. Give it a try you will be impressed.
Aquaman01
There's also a product that shoe stores sell for cleaning/protecting the cork base on Birkenstocks. ------------------Aquaman<')}}}}}><{Peace and Fishes
Bobb-o
I always just rubbed the cork with a very fine sandpaper------------------"A dislexic agnostic insomniac lies awake at night wonderingif there's a dog."
Guest
Diluted dish soap works well, as does very fine sandpaper. I use both.------------------>"////=<Gull Guide Servicefishingminnesota.com/gullguideBrainerd-Mille Lacs-WillmarBemidji-OttertailN.P.A.A. #
irvingdog
Bobb-OTo expand on your approach, use a very fine sand paper. 120 seems best. Cup the paper in your hand and (this is important) turn the rod, not the paper! It won't take much. It works great!
