I bought this used so I dont have a manual, i assume this means I have a bad battery? The other two battery lights are green. The charger is a Guest, any information would be very appreciated. Thanks.

It very easily could be as simple as bad connections, start there and be sure.

It may also be a breaker if you have one on the battery...it is a good idea to have them if you do not.

If you have not already done so, It would be wise to first check the electrolyte levels on all the battery's first to be sure the cells are full. Add electrolyte as required, and try it again if.

Lastly check the battery by Isolating it, by removing it from the circuit with the others, then try a different bank of your on-board charger on that battery and see how it reacts....if it then still indicates a fault....time to replace that battery.

If that bank of the charger indicates a fault on a known good battery, well then it appears the charger is at fault and needs service.

Since the battery in question is the starting battery, a load test can find out if it is shot preaty quickly.

If you do not have a load tester handy, barrow one or trailer the rig over to a local mechanic and ask them to load test it for you. Most battery shops will do this for free and you will know right off if it is shot. If shot..I recommend not skimping on the starting battery and just go with the 1000 CCA as it will perform better and hold up longer.

What Ed said. Our Guest three bank just did similar thing to us. It ended up being the connections around the in-line fuses. We put in new in-line fuses and all is well with the world smile Give it a look see, that could be it. Our is about 7 years old or so. Good luck.
