Different pools on the mississippi

Is there a map anywhere that shows the breakups for the different pools? Or what are the boundries for pool 1,2 etc? Thanks

Especially up on pool one. Once you get out of the barge channel..... it gets pretty interesting.

NO NO I don't want novices to do that.... barge channels are marked on the Miss for a reason.... they are the deepest part of the river. You get off the track on P1 and you can find your self in 6 inches of water before you can say oh $hit...

On Pools 2 and 3 you stray out of the barge channel in lower water and you will be leaving your lower unit mounted in a Wing dam while your learning to fly as you get ejected.

I highly recommend that anyone not familiar with the rivers to get a MN boating safety guide. There is a lot of info that will make you a safer navigator.
