Point & shoot recommendations

I know most of you are beyond this type of camera, but what is the best point & shoot camera?

Most I've seen take good outdoor shots, but not good indoor flash pictures, which is important to me.

I like my canon 970 is p&s. Though the sony panoramic ability is catching my eye. I know my next p&s will have gps logging ability built in. So i am afraid i will have to say goodbye to canon since they refuse to incorporate gps, even in their high end dslr's. Like anything, depends what you want and whether compact size is a factor.

Canon SX20 IS works for me. Flash is tough to work with tho on close macro stuff.

Take a look at the new Nikon Coolpix L22. Pretty amazing little camera for around $100. Impressive images in my opinion. And really simple to set-up and even easier to use.
