eggdish
Are there any building inspectors on this site or does anybody know how someone would go about becoming a licensed building inspector? I'm not talking about a home inspector, as far as I know that isn't even a certified profession. I'm talking about becoming an residential inspector for a city or municipality. Didn't think I would ever wonder about this, but tough to find work anywhere in construction right now.
walleyeseeker
Kapplan has a course for this. I checked into it and if I remember right, it runs a little over $1,000.00 for the course.

Check into InverHills JR College if its still called that. They had, and I believe yet do have the full courses for your wants. You can however sign on to take the test, pay the fee if you pass you will be a limited inspector,But first you should have considerable understanding of building codes be3fore attempting the test.Contact Dept.of standards to find out more About taking the test if you feel you know the codes if not I suggest InverHills.
