how to fish plastic worms?

hi i went to a garage sale and bought a tackle box full of stuff. it has lots of plastic worms about 6 inches long how do i fish these? if i use just a jig head wont i miss i lot of fish the hook only goes in about a inch. any help would be great

use a bigger hook? smile

you can miss a lot of the smaller fish, but it's been my experience that usually when fish go after plastics the enhale the whole thing...not just grab the tail. So the entire thing will be in the fishes mouth...making hookset much easier

here is a basic carolina rig, it is for the most part snag proof, it can be used shallow or deep, in pretty much any cover.

Is a carolina rig primarily for bass? I've never used it before, so just curious if it might be good for eye's that are hanging in the weeds?

A carolina rig or texas rig are both great for walleyes. It's basically like fishing a crawler harness.

Like most fishing techniques in north america however, they were originally designed for fishing LMBs.
