Bought an used Old Town canoe. It's in good shape overall, but the bottom is scratched quite a bit and in a coule spots looks like it's scratched all the way through the first layer.

Wondering if a guy can sand the bottom smooth again and if that matters?

Also, if there is any type of epoxy / patch type product to fill in the scratches?
