What are you all finding for prices? I found a bag of slow release professional. 25-0-10 for 20.95 10,000sf. This is straight up. Crabgrass preventer $25 does this seem like a good deal?

Hemi, the reason you got it for $23 was because Depot gave you an extra 10% off the match price ($25).

Ahhh, that explains why I got it for a final price of $22 and change. The price I was given by John Deere was $23 and that was the price HD matched.

I pay a little less than $15.

I also buy 250 bags at a time.

Nothing for chemical in the fertilizer and no slow release. I don't believe in slow release fertilizer for the price that they charge. I put it on minimum three times per year. It probably comes out to the same price as if I put on slow release stuff but I know this stuff works. Why would farmers trust it on their crops if it didn't?
