Photo class photos! opinions?

Recommended Posts

Well Since you asked, I will only give you some minor criticism. Photo number one is over exposed, by exposing this photo properly you would darken the back ground and make it less distracting.

#2 is also overexposed by a step. And I would crop it a bit.

#3 Nice compostion, but again would have done a little cropping, to get the green off the bottom, you have the flowers going all the way to the top, but not on the bottom.

#4 again- overexposed. Some of that can be fixed in post proccesing but it would have been better had you started about -1 from what you took photo at.

#5. Exposure problems, get rid of the white lines on each side

#6 nice compostion, but would have cropped the left side off a bit.

Last one, Looks like a good place for a nap.

Please dont take this the wrong way, you ask for opinions, and I just thought I would give you a couple of pointers. I would be interested to see what you hear in Class.

You have some nice shots, but I have to respectfully disagree with Paul. These aren't over exposed. They were just shot in harsh lighting conditions. My advice would be to shoot these earlier or later in the day, when the light is softer or use a diffuser to soften the light. Better yet, shoot on a bright overcast day. Harsh light can cause more contrast than cameras can effectively handle.
