If you recently put down a crabgrass preventer, and now you seed dandelions, do NOT put down weed-n-feed.

You can buy some liquid broadleaf spray and spray the dandelions, but if you use a weed-n-feed product you'll REALLY REALLY be mowing as soon as the ground warms up another 6-9 degrees.

Good advice, but can you get a crabgrass preventer that does not have fertilizer in it? I'm sure most does, but isn't there a chance that some products are just the stuff meant to gas the crabgrass?

Yes you can get a strictly crabgrass preventor. A good one is Hi-Yeild made by Ferti-Lome
