I think we have desperately needed a good power play defense man for years. I think this has been a huge problem for us. Unfortunately we wont get one. We still need so many other pieces of the puzzle first. Id settle just for a guy who could break us out and bring the puck up ice on the PP.

Yeah, we didn't resign him. Too bad, he'll be missed. Every once in a while you'd see flashes of the 26 year old Nolan out there last year.

Oh wow. So I suppose he will be hanging up the skates then? He will definitely be missed this season. He played well when he was angry.

I think it was time to him to go, yes he was good for us but I'm not sure how much left he has in the gas tank.

I also thought I read somewhere (Russo Maybe) that he wasn't exactly a great presence in the locker room. Just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt.

He will get picked up by someone after the season starts. Injuries or something.
