best $50 walleye baitcaster?

Hello, just wondering what might be the best $50 baitcaster for MN walleye water? It will be paired with an older 5'6" Lightening Rod. Thanks for any advice/opinion.

I've heard good things about the Daiwa Strike Force for that price range. Likely going to buy one for myself this Spring.

Not sure where you are at But I have picked up a few Abu Garcia revo sx's in spirit lake for 50 bucks

5'6" is a little short for a casting or a trolling rod, you might want to consider spending a hundo and going combo, 6'0" or longer, 6'6" is great works for casting and trolling. As far as the reel goes, i had 2 diffret abu's that were good, but like all that goes with fishing, you get what you pay for. Good luck.

I've picked up a few there too...they're demo models that are returned to FFO lightly used. Decent buy foresure.

The Abu Black Max/Silver Max ($49.00/$59.00 new)would also be a good fit for that rod choice...price is right anyways. You can pick up either one of these for $15.00 slightly used as well.

Take a look at the CODE, they are on sale at Gander...great reel and now very reasonably priced.
