Hatcherie is full

Spirit Lake Hatcherie started the spring netting Friday night ( 4/9) 600+ eyes on Friday night and near 1500 ( yes 1500) on Saturday night. As of Sunday 9/11 there were 99 muskies in the tanks. All quality fish, many upper 40" muskies and from the looks of it lots of 6-10 pound eyes. The staff had their hands full trying to keep up on the egg stripping. Looks like the slots doing what we wanted and there seems to be no shortage of nice walleye in Spirit Lake.

7-10 I think, only muskies left they will start processing those starting tomarrow.

Yep it said open till 10pm today when I was there. They were moving the fish out.
