spending the weekend on the rum

A few of us are heading out friday to do some camping on the rum river. Just wondering if any one had some pointers on what to look for to try and get the ladies on some fish( deeper holes shallow flats rocks sand bait)? I have no problem on running around in the boat to find what i should be looking for.

We have been catching some suckers on the Rum.. But that has pretty much been it.

I went to the walbo access and camped down river from there. Caught a few suckers right infront of camp and then headed down stream friday afternoon and saturday and caught plenty of suckers. I was surprised on the amount of people that i talked to at the landing that where telling me how good the walleyes where bitting and where to go fish for them.
