I have those sights on a springfield xdm. They can come with a couple differnet color configurations. The tru glows are much eaisier for my eyes to see even in light. A buddy of mine put a set on his xdm after shooting mine.

I have them (trijicon) on my Glock..... and miss them on my LCP.

If you have the option, get the glows, especialy if this is going to be any type of a "carry" gun.

Now if you are just calling the XD a "house gun" or a "range gun" something you just shoot from time to time or go tag bowling pins or IDPA then you dont need them. You are not shooting in low light. Save the $100.00.

I have a set of the Trijicon Tritium's on a S&W M&P...I was on the fence whether I needed them or not before I purchased the gun and I'm very happy I have them and guess most people would feel the same way the first time you look across them in any low light setting.
