Just a word of warning.

Don't waste your money to see this in 3D. It wasn't filmed in 3D! The studio wanted to try to cash in on the 3D craze so they tried to "upgrade" the 2d movie but severely rushed it and the result was basically a more expensive 2D movie that you pay more money to see.

Otherwise it was a pretty decent movie, seemed like it coulda been a little longer though.

I'm with the rest of you. I loved the original with the cheesy animation and special effects but it was done really well for the time. The new one, I'll wait for it to come out on dvd and watch it on a thunderstorm type weekend when I can't get out.
