Alumacraft Phantom?

Thought I had read about a river-rat musky guy posting in this forum had used, or using, an Alumacraft Phantom. If so, was just hoping they could post how this boat worked in bigger waves. It's supposed to be a bass boat, but it seems to have a V in her back-end. They look like sweet boats, but I'm kind of a multi-species guy that likes to fish 'ski mostly.

Probably Jon Nesse you are thinking about. He runs a phantom, and is a river rat when it comes to walleyes.

Been in his boat but don't recall being in big waves.

Probably was Nesse...

Phantoms are very nice to fish out of, but not the best in big waves frankly. Handles them safely, but you get a little wet. All in all though a pretty versatile boat if you're a multi-species guy.
